ICD-10 updates for MCO, eCET, and 837 Claims

ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases release 10) changes have been completed for Netsmart's (formerly CMHC) MIS.  Changes were made for MCO claims processing, eCET EMR (electronic medical record), and treatment plans, and outbound HIPAA 837 claims (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act for both 837P = Professional and 837I = Institutional Claims).

We are also offering support for agencies that delayed ICD-10 implementation and are now requesting assistance.  Our team understands the issues and knows how to make the changes.

We have also implemented ICD-10 changes in the MS Word merge documents we created to generate HIPAA 837 claims to meet Washington state ProviderOne and Greater Columbia Behavioral Health requirements.

Thank you to Tracy Thompson, Kelly Nortrom, Alice Sharrett, Shayne Spratt, Neil Griffin, Sherrie Velthuysen, and Jerry Schneider for all of their hard work to keep our customers up-to-date for ICD-10 requirements.

ICD-10 changes were significant when compared to ICD-9 which had been in effect since the late 70's.

Thank you also to Netsmart Technologies for making the transition smooth for MIS customers.
